The offer is available on the 2027 BMW i5, i7 and iX3. It consists of a $300 credit to use on the BMW charging network and another $200 specifically for charging on the IONNA network. BMW’s broader charging network is accessible through the My BMW app and provides access to more than 180,000 public charging points across the United States thanks to partnerships with a variety of charging point operators, including Shell Recharge, ChargePoint, EVgo and IONNA.
Customers will also receive a complimentary one-year BMW membership at IONNA, which offers a 25 percent discount on charging during the membership period. Membership credits and benefits are valid for up to one year from the vehicle’s retail sale date.
Those who purchased or leased an eligible 2027 model before the program launched on November 5 may also qualify. IONNA is a joint venture between BMW and seven other American automakers that has more than 200 locations nationwide, each with DC charging up to 400 kW.
To get the offer, customers must complete an account setup process and enroll in the charging package through the My BMW app after purchase. Eligible credits are automatically applied to qualifying charging sessions. Once the balance has been used, subsequent charge costs are billed to the customer’s payment method on file.
The charging package offering is part of BMW’s broader efforts to improve access to public charging as it expands its electric vehicle offering in North America.
