“I have seen myself under the wheels of a car”
Ion Aramendi has announced in summer moves that one of the program’s collaborators had suffered “a spectacular accident” in the center of Madrid and it was Iván García who was in charge of revealing that it was Belén Rodríguez, who went live to explain what happened and reassure her friends, to whom she confirmed, as the presenter had already said, that she was fine.
«I had a big scare. Seeing myself under a car is one of the things that had not happened to me yet in my life. “I was sending audios,” Belén Rodríguez said from the hospital where she was being treated.
“I was leaving my house and going to the gym and suddenly a car hit me, I saw myself under the wheels and well, I hurt myself,” the collaborator confessed.
Rodríguez also had words for the driver of the vehicle that hit her: “Fortunately, there are still people like that, because she could have said that I was confused, but she was very worried about me. She is a wonderful person (…) The poor thing had a fit, she was crying, she offered to take me to the doctor or anything I needed. “He called me later to see how I was doing.”
Regarding her state of health, the talk show host said: “My elbow hurts a lot because I got two big wounds, but considering what it could have been and having hit my head… I’m more or less fine.”
And finally, Belén Rodríguez wanted to send a message to her loved ones. «I would like to reassure my people, that we have already been through a lot in life. “I’m fine, I’m bruised, but as far as possible, I’m fine.”
