Ryanair: Would you like to sit by the window?
A window broke on a Ryanair flight on Friday morning. When has something like this happened before and why this case ended so lightly.

A big shock, a few abrasions and a delay of several hours – that’s the surprisingly harmless-sounding result of the Ryanair flight from Thessaloniki to Memmingen that had to return to the departure airport on Friday morning with a broken side window. What happened, on the other hand, sounds much more dramatic: a passenger was sucked out through the destroyed window with his head and shoulders. Luckily he was wearing a seatbelt and was able to be pulled back onto the plane by fellow passengers. It is not yet clear why the window broke.
