On the highway 7 in Hamburg A kilometer-long traffic jam has formed around the Elbe tunnel. To the north, there is a traffic jam for around ten kilometers between the Hamburg-Südwest motorway triangle and the Elbe tunnel, said an employee at the traffic control center. To the south there is a traffic jam around four kilometers long between the Volkspark and the Elbtunnel. The “Hamburger Morgenpost” first reported.

The employee at the traffic control center explained the high volume of traffic with a concert in the Volksparkstadion. In addition, the summer holidays continue, during which families travel more and more.

As can be seen on the traffic map from the traffic control center, there are sections of the A1 in Hamburg that are jammed or the traffic flows slowly.
