Kia has introduced the all-new Sorento SUV in India at a price of ₹27.99 lakh (ex-showroom). The three-row SUV comes in both diesel and strong hybrid power trains and is offered in FWD and AWD variants. There is also an option of 6-seat or 7-seat configurations.

The Price of the Kia Sorento differs based on the variants. The introductory price is around ₹27.99 lakh onwards and it can go upto ₹29.49 lakhs for its hybrid variants.
Diesel Power Meets Hybrid Efficiency of Kia Sorento
The 2.2 litre Smartstream Diesel engine produces 193 hp and 442 Nm of torque. The high pulling power now makes it easy for buyers to carry more passengers and luggages. Also, shifts now become smoother with the 8-speed DCT ( Dual- Clutch Transmission).
Kia Sorento has now focused on fuel efficiency with the new car model. The 10-speed automatic transmission feature keeps the engine in an efficient RPM range and saving on fuel becomes easier
The hybrid version of the car now provides quicker acceleration, smoother power delivery, and better efficiency. The electric motor of the hybrid version is based on an electric motor and 1.6 litre turbo petrol engine. The combined output of the system is up to 238hp.

Frequent travellers on rough roads can now get better grip and handling with the All- Wheel Drive( AWD). It has various terrain modes such as snow, sand, and mud. These modes vary traction control based on road surface, making it easy to drive on muddy roads, loose sand, slippery roads, or hilly roads
Flexible And Ventilated Seat Capacities For A Comfortable Journey
Rear seat passengers will now have more cabin space with the 2,820 mm wheelbase, making the journey more comfortable. The 6-seat version is available with Captain Seats, and the 7-seat version has an extra seat.
Travellers can now simplify the cabin according to the need with the flexible second and third row features. The second row seats slide, recline and fold. In addition, a split-folding function (50:50) is added to the third row.
On higher Sorento models, the front and second row seats are ventilated. It also gets Front Row Relaxation Seats, a 10-way powered driver seat and a powered passenger seat. The SUV also gets a Panoramic Sunroof and a 12-speaker Bose audio system.
Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) Level 2+ are available for the higher variants. The Sorento comes standard with 7 to 10 airbags (depending on the variant) and other active and passive safety gears.
