Nio started this year by breaking record after record, posting six-figure trading numbers during the third day of the Chinese Lunar New Year celebrations and marking the third such record for Nio in as many days, but the company hasn’t stopped there. New reports indicate that the company broke those impressive records again, making nearly 1.2 million trades during the National Day celebrations last week.
The Chinese electric vehicle brand’s approximately 4,100 battery swapping stations completed 1,192,221 consumer battery swaps from Oct. 1 to Oct. 7, with the daily average nearly 22% higher than a year earlier, according to a holiday battery charging and swapping report released Friday.
