Hochtief (ACS) wins contract to build data center for NTT

HOCHTIEF has obtained a contract from NTT Global Data Centers to build a data center in Berlin. The contract, valued at several hundred million euros, covers the construction of a facility with a capacity of 36 MW.

The project, led by a team consisting of HOCHTIEF Infrastructure and Turner (through its subsidiary Dornan), is scheduled to begin construction in the summer of 2026, with delivery of the first data rooms scheduled for 2028. The work is expected to be fully completed in 2029.

The project includes the construction of a three-story, 36 MW data center, and a four-story office building. The scope includes all electrical and mechanical engineering work, as well as the implementation of advanced security and management systems.

In 2025, HOCHTIEF secured data center orders worth €16.8 billion, representing 21 percent of the backlog.
