TIME magazine: Mr. Fietze, my main meal every day is almost always dinner. That’s where the family comes together, that’s where we cook and that’s where I particularly like it. Later I sometimes have a hard time falling asleep. Could it be because of the food?
Ingo Fietze: That’s quite possible, but it doesn’t necessarily have to be that way – if you take a few things into account. The last large meal should be eaten at least three hours before going to bed. Then the body has enough time to digest. A full stomach and feeling of fullness can disrupt falling asleep and the quality of sleep.
