My colleague Tina Casey is writing a story about the new Tesla Roadster and I hope she’ll forgive me for this intrusion. What we saw in the reveal was a totally irrelevant mind game cooked up inside Elon Musk’s drugged-out skull. That’s right, the richest man in the world, who has spent more than a billion dollars to prop up a demented dictator and his legion of sycophants. The guy who despises democracy and one day put USAID “into the wood chipper,” in a move that some experts say could lead to the premature deaths of more than 40 million people over the next decade.

Here’s the trick Elon hopes to divert attention from his lunatic antics:

This is the stupidest demonstration of what a deranged mind can create that I have ever witnessed. At a time when the world is asking for affordable electric cars, Saint Elon is giving us a $200,000+ excrescence that serves no practical purpose. It’s even sillier than falcon-winged doors! What a shame, Elon. Now you’re the poster child for stupidity: an ultra-rich dilettante who supports tyrants like Vladimir Putin while polluting the environment so your data centers can produce images of nearly naked women and children.

Please, Elon, I beg you: deport yourself back to South Africa, today if possible. We won’t miss you.
