A man has been arrested after the sexual assault on a nine-year-old girl in Wolfegg in the Ravensburg district. After securing traces, the suspicion against the 52-year-old was confirmed, they said police and public prosecutor’s office. The suspect is in custody. He is accused, among other things, of serious sexual abuse of a child. The 52-year-old admitted the crime.

The 52-year-old is said to have dragged the child into his car on Monday afternoon and taken him to a forest area. According to the girl, he dropped her off at a supermarket about half an hour later, police said. His parents informed the police about the incident. An investigative team took care of the case.

According to the investigators, after evaluating traces, the initially vague suspicion was confirmed that the child could not only have been taken in the car, but also sexually abused. Further investigations led the criminal police to track down the 52-year-old. According to police, the man, who comes from the eastern district of Ravensburg, was arrested without resistance on Thursday. The investigation into the exact circumstances of the crime is still ongoing.
