While refueling in Magdeburg-Olvenstedt, a drunk driver’s hose ripped out of the pump. The man had driven his car a few meters forward while refueling, as they did police announced. So fuel didn’t leak.

According to the police, the man placed the fuel pump next to the pump at the self-service gas station and continued to fill up at another one. A witness then alerted the police. The man then drove away, but was stopped a short time later by officers. According to police, a breath alcohol test showed 1.33 per mille. An investigation was initiated against the 54-year-old.
