The financial regulator Bafin has initiated an audit of the annual financial statements and management report of the drug manufacturer Dermapharm for 2025. The authority announced on Friday in Frankfurt that there were concrete indications that Dermapharm had violated accounting regulations. This involves a depiction of a claim including interest claims recorded on it amounting to 63.2 million euros, which may be incorrect, it was said. Dermapharm has its headquarters in Grünwald near Munich.
According to Bafin, there is also evidence that business transactions with a related company were inadequately explained. According to the information, the audit was initiated on July 14th.
