Although he was wanted on two arrest warrants, a convicted robber traveled from Hanover to Bielefeld on the ICE train without a ticket. After the train staff checked the tickets, the two arrest warrants came to light at the federal police in Bielefeld, as a police spokesman said.
According to the information, the 27-year-old had not fully paid a fine of 650 euros for insults and threats. The Duisburg public prosecutor’s office was looking for him because he still had to serve 68 days in prison after being convicted of robbery, it was said. This is what is supposed to happen now: The man went to prison on Thursday.
