Spain – Austria 3:0 (1:0)
European soccer champion Spain has reached the round of 16 of the World Cup in the USA, Canada and Mexico. In front of a good 70,000 spectators at the SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles, the team around young star Lamine Yamal achieved an easy 3-0 (1-0) victory against in the round of 16 Austria. The goals were scored by Mikel Oyarzabal (38th and 89th minutes) and Pedro Porro (66th).
Oyarzabal has already scored five goals in the current World Cup. Porro scored his first goal in his 20th international match. In the round of 16, Spain will play against the winner of the Portugal-Croatia game on Monday (9 p.m. CEST) in Dallas, Texas.
