Two children slightly injured
According to police, two children aged six and seven were slightly injured in the accident. In addition to the three children, two carriage drivers also sat on the vehicle.
According to witness statements, the horses shied away, causing the carriage to tip over on its side. The police are still investigating whether two young people on e-scooters who drove past at the same time could have scared the animals.
Property damage minor
According to the police, there was only minor damage to the carriage itself. The incident occurred on July 13, 2026 as part of the traditional pageant.
