The Berliners police is looking for a jewelry robber and is now hoping for clues from the public with a mugshot of the perpetrator. On the afternoon of March 7, 2025, the man opened a display case in a jewelry and watch store in the Eastgate shopping center and stole jewelry from it, the police said. A saleswoman stepped in and tried to stop him.

According to the information, the saleswoman was injured in the face and upper body by the robber in the ensuing scuffle. The perpetrator escaped with the loot. The police released images from a surveillance camera that are said to show the robber. She now hopes to obtain information about the man’s identity and whereabouts. Police did not say exactly what the man stole. She referred to the ongoing investigation.
