The Dresdeners police Overpowered an armed man in the morning. As the state capital’s police department announced, witnesses had alerted the officers. Emergency services were immediately sent to the scene in the Friedrichstadt district, including special forces for life-threatening situations. “According to previous findings, an officer used his service weapon during the operation,” it said.

The man was caught. According to police, he is said to have been injured during the operation. The area is currently cordoned off by police. No further details were initially provided.
