Stockholm – A new picture of the Swedish royals radiates family warmth and delights fans: Princess Sofia (41) and her husband Prince Carl Philip (47) have a photo together at the beginning of summer Instagramchannel released that shows her four children in a magical moment. You can see the three sons Prince Alexander (10), Prince Gabriel (8) and Prince Julian (5) – all dutifully equipped with life jackets – lovingly holding their little sister Princess Ines (1) in the middle. The water glitters in the background and the atmosphere could hardly be more idyllic.
Shortly after Ines’ birth in February 2025, Sofia and Carl Philip shared a black and white photo of the siblings on Instagram and wrote: “It has become a perfect little quartet.” This sentence still applies – and the new summer picture proves once again: The four children have visibly grown together, and Princess Sofia is letting the world share in it.

The couple leaves it open where exactly the family will spend the summer vacation. The Swedish coastal town of Båstad – where Sofia and Carl Philip once met – is also one of the preferred travel destinations, as is the Baltic Sea island of Öland or the family-owned estate in Sörmland near Trosa. One thing is certain: the royal couple know how to enjoy the beautiful sides of life.
